We are looking for a QA Analyst to support the planning, development, analysis, testing, and continuous improvement of healthcare data integration and interoperability solutions. This position will be a contract and remote.
What You'll Do
Plan, develop, analyze, and execute quality assurance activities supporting software engineering processes across the enterprise
Perform testing and validation of healthcare data integrations involving APIs, SFTP, Kafka, EHR platforms, and interoperability solutions
Conduct source-to-target data mapping validation and reconciliation activities
Analyze business requirements, identify process risks and issues, and participate in problem-solving sessions
Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, regression tests, and integration testing scenarios
Validate healthcare data exchanges using FHIR and HL7 v2/v3 standards
Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to ensure quality objectives are incorporated into business solutions
Manage and track defects, provide quality metrics, and recommend process improvements
Document testing results, findings, and project deliverables
Provide support and guidance related to software artifacts, processes, and quality standards across the enterprise
What You'll Need
Required:
1-3 years of relevant experience
Experience with source-to-target data mapping and data validation
Experience analyzing business problems and translating requirements into test scenarios
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and regression testing
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Experience working within Agile environments
Proficiency in technical documentation and stakeholder communication
Preferred:
Experience testing integrations involving APIs, SFTP, Kafka, or similar technologies
Knowledge of FHIR and/or HL7 healthcare interoperability standards
Experience testing healthcare data integrations involving Epic, Oracle Health, or other EHR platforms
Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance industry
HL7 v2/v3 testing knowledge and hands-on experience
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$40-$45 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
