Your mission

The post holder will join the company as junior member with the role Assistant to the Secretary General and Legal Department and will have the responsibility to assist in all legal and administrative matters handled by the Secretary General and Legal Department mostly related to digital transformation and technology, under the close supervision of the senior legal advisers. The Assistant to the Secretary General and Legal Department will be based in the Barcelona office. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general legal support and assistance.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing software licenses and other digital product contracts. 
• Assist in drafting and reviewing IP related clauses and policies to be included in different agreements, social media channels, marketing campaigns, among others.

• Conduct legal research and analysis, particularly regarding AI European legislation, and prepare related reports.
• Assist with administrative procedures by reviewing and updating standard contract templates and organizing legal documents.

Your profile

The personal profile is a picture of the skills, knowledge and experience needed to carry out the job.

• Graduated in Law, and knowledge and skills in the field of sports, new technologies and digital law. Strong interest in privacy policies and compliance procedures will be valued.
• Prior experience (such as internships) up to two years at a law firm and/or an in-house legal department, will be valued.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
• Knowledge of Spanish.
• Excellent analytical, writing and oral presentation skills.
• Capacity for teamwork.
• High level of commitment to quality work product and organisational ethics, integrity and compliance.
• Strong familiarity with the game of basketball, teams, and players will be valued.
