The TPM and Reliability engineer role is responsible for ensuring the manufacturing equipment and processes are running efficiently and reliably. The role will consist of shop floor activities, data analytics using AI and problem solving. The TPM Engineer will be a key liaison between the NPI/Project teams and the plant operation, manufacturing teams, and Maintenance Team; ensuring that plant priorities and objectives are clearly understood and considered for the area under their ownership. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying the proactive maintenance requirements for assets to increase plant productivity, maximize reliability performance in a sustainable way and to capture all opportunities for process improvement while reducing total costs. The Engineer focuses on building capabilities within the manufacturing organization in leaders to solve business critical equipment performance issues. This position is 100% Onsite.Position

Manufacturing Operations:
- Drive implementation of AP2 TPM program that supports production goals and objectives.
- Support member and liaison for on-boarding and assisting AP2 Maintenance team.
- Development and continuous monitoring of AP2 Maintenance Department Budget.
- Supporting the development of EAM system and EAM reporting for AP2.
- Supporting development of AP2 Spare Parts Crib. Assisting and overseeing creation of parts, locations, and suppliers.
- Provide status reports regarding the execution of TPM activities. Identify issues and make recommendations to address roadblocks and areas of opportunity.
- Coordinate with plant Leaders to execute TPM learning/training plans
- Provides training and promotes TPM Check List, Digital Hour by Hour, 1x1 problem solving and standardized work to cultivate an environment that encourages problem solving, critical thinking, and innovation.
- Utilize EAM to data mine the maintenance work order and repair history details. Use Brilliant Factory data to obtain equipment performance results and use it to drive improvements
- Use Hour x Hour tools to identify top downtime contributors and create actions to mitigate them
- Leads Jishuken (learn by doing) activities to solve critical operational equipment problems while spreading the learning across the organization.
- Assist with creating TPM Check List and Preventative Maintenance (PM) documentation and other documentation for business processes and standards.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Position Requirements:
- Ability to influence and guide mid-level managers and reconcile competing interests and priorities
- Ability to develop and train in others on TPM, Maintenance Strategies (CBM, PDM, PM) and Equipment Reliability Fundamentals.
- Possess optimism towards achieving positive outcome and competitiveness to translate a plan into action.
- Demonstrated proficiency of standardized work and 1x1 problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Expertise in maintenance and reliability processes such as lubrication management, vibration and thermal analysis, and FMEA (failure modes and effects analysis).
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in reliability, engineering, equipment maintenance, or a related field.
- Shop floor leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership experience within Appliance manufacturing and familiarity with Manufacturing Equipment
- Knowledge of various maintenance and reliability processes including Maintenance planning and scheduling, lubrication management, vibration analysis, thermal analysis, root cause failure analysis and FMEA, criticality analysis, statistical analysis.
- Track record of driving results through analytical methods, project scheduling, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or scientific-related field.
- Six Sigma certification preferred, with strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and other improvement methodologies.
Working Conditions:
- Working conditions are normal for both an office and manufacturing environments.
- Work may involve lifting materials and products up to 25 pounds.
- Working in the manufacturing environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, work shoes/boots.
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
- Work will include walking and standing for extended periods, using stairs, cross-overs and ladders.
- Up to 15% of travel required for domestic travel to plants, suppliers, etc.
