Volunteer

The Village maintains a database of applications submitted by persons interested in volunteer service on a village board, committee, or commission. When a vacancy occurs on a particular board, committee, or commission, the village president reviews the pertinent applications and chooses from among those applicants for candidate interviews. The Village of Buffalo Grove benefits from the contributions of volunteers serving on these active boards, committees, and commissions:

• Farmers Market Committee 
• Health Commission 
• Commission for Residents with Disabilities 
• Planning and Zoning Commission
• Board of Fire and Police Commissioners
• Fire Pension Board
• Police Pension Board
• Ethics Commission
