Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving our apartment communities while ensuring all properties meet the company's quality maintenance standards. The technician will work closely with management and must be able to travel between two property locations as needed throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on apartment homes and community buildings.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems as needed.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
• Work with management to ensure company maintenance standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable apartment or property maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification and hands-on HVAC experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to commute between two property locations throughout the workweek.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
