Description
The Senior Financial Analyst position directly supports the Franciscan Director of Financial Operations. In this role you will perform reviews and analysis of financial trends, historical financial data, financial statements, budgets and reports. You will also participate in financial modeling activities, the capital allocation process, and the annual operating budgeting process.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Analyze facility productivity and labor utilization by developing, maintaining, and monitoring the utilization and benchmark reporting for labor and productivity usage across the Franciscan Alliance, to ensure productivity and labor utilization is at or below budget.
Analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for the Franciscan Alliance and facilities, identify variances to budget, and develop the management discussion and analysis.
Conduct cost accounting analysis by consulting with facilities, to develop and maintain cost distributing reports for use by Franciscan Alliance and facility management to identify cost containment opportunities, best practice costing and cost reduction programs.
Enhance the Franciscan Alliance's financial education by assessing, developing, and providing workshops, presentations, and written communication.
Educate Franciscan Alliance, facility managers and staff in the areas of budget review, variance analysis, cost accounting, financial planning, and labor productivity analysis.
Prepare and analyze the budget/long-range financial plan by developing and consolidating the operating budget and long-range financial plan, monitoring performance against budget and analyzing variances, and providing margin analysis on operating budgets and new programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Accounting Finance or Business Administration - Required
Master's Degree MBA or degree in relevant studies - Preferred
3 years Finance - Required
