The main responsibility is to support the Global Product Manager, Sales and Distribution Teams by managing requests for product information, specifications, and pricing. They will support business fulfillment issues (lead-time, expedite, samples, etc.). This role requires effective interaction with the worldwide Sales team and distributors, Project Management, R&D, Quality and Operations.
About the Job
Pricing and business execution
- Execute region specific product line strategies
- Provide pricing to sales
- Follow-up on all significant quotes (with product line defined $ amounts)
- Manage and drive New Business Opportunities (NBO) activities at key accounts and focus applications/end markets
- Analyze pricing & margin data for pricing improvement opportunities
- Manage price lists, including country min/rep min, ITS and design registration program
Product Line Marketing
- Develop Marcom strategies for your Product Lines within the targeted market segments, customers, and distribution channels.
- Work with stakeholders to produce and provide material to support Marcom plan as well as new product releases or introductions
New Product Development
- Participate in new product development meetings as the Product team representative; provide market insight into pricing, opportunities, etc.
- With GPM, conduct market analysis and build business cases for new product development projects
Forecasting, Planning
- Work with Director and/or PM to provide revenue forecasts quarterly and annually
- Work with WW Sales/Distribution management to manage and optimize global channel inventories
Quality
- Support QA Director and sales with quality issues. Review and edit/approve quality response prior to distribution
About You
- College degree required, preferably in marketing or business administration or EE
- Fluent in English
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Self Motivator with strong drive to achieve business objectives
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Strong analytical skills and experience
- Good general knowledge of both the sales and product manufacturing processes in Semiconductor component manufacturer
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
- At least two or three years’ experience in similar positions: internal sales, customer sales representative, etc.
