Position Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Database developer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience with optimizing and troubleshooting SQL queries, indexes, execution plans, joins, and overall database performance
- Ability to participate in and contribute to code management in GitHub including
- Actively collaborating in peer-reviews, feature branches, and resolving conflicts and commits.
- Ability to train and mentor application developers on best database practices.
- Experience with GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with microservices, Kafka and NoSQL databases would be nice to have.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory (ADF), is preferred.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is a plus.
