C++ SW Engineer (zástup za MD)

Summary

We are two agile teams based in Brno and Bratislava, responsible for developing security solutions for macOS for both home and business users. We work with the latest Apple technologies, primarily using C++ and Swift, and occasionally Objective-C. Our development spans all levels of macOS, from the graphical interface to system services and the kernel.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineers specializing in C++ to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow their skills in a supportive environment.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications for macOS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional software development experience with proficiency in C++.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with multi-thread programming.
• English language proficiency at least at B1 level (reading, writing).
• General awareness of computer security.

 

Nice to have:

• Theoretical or practical knowledge of additional languages: Swift, Objective-C, Perl/Python, Bash.
• Experience with libraries: Cocoa, SwiftUI, Combine.
• User-level knowledge of macOS, Linux, or Unix operating systems.
• Theoretical understanding of Unix-based operating systems.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.
