Clinical Director

Healthcare Recruiters seeks a full-time onsite Licensed PT Clinic Director for our client’s top rated clinic in Irvine, CA. This role will be 60% direct patient care and 40% clinical management (managing 9-10 clinicians).

Out client's overarching mission is to treat the root cause of pain naturally rather than just masking symptoms.

Keep Staff PT’s accountable:

• Ensure that they represent all organization’s core values.
• Ensure that they give outstanding care to their patients.
• Ensure that they excel in PT Scorecard.
• Ensure that they grow in PT skill, knowledge and in areas of weakness.
• Ensure charting is effective (efficient, protective & timely)- review selected charts monthly.
• Ensure PT’s are scheduling out their IE’s.

Staffing Responsibilities:

• Supervision of PT’s and Aides - Co-supervising Lead Aide
• Interviewing PT candidates and making hiring recommendations to Managing Director.
• Facilitate onboarding of new therapists at your location.
• Update PT schedule as needed. Handle time off requests as needed.
• Do PT and Aide annual reviews. Recommend raises to Managing Director.
• Organizing and facilitating students of Physical Therapy Clinicals.
• Prep for and run weekly or monthly 1 on 1’s with each PT. Go over a)PT scorecard/bonus, b)Housekeeping, c)Train and Educate.
• For Irvine and HB only: Meet with Fitness Director monthly and as needed in order to help grow fitness and ensure good communication between the 2 sides.
• Prepare for and lead PT dept meetings/trainings/in-services.
• Together with Lead Aide, ensure that your aides are receiving helpful training, development and accountability.

Miscellaneous:

• Safeguard the clinic's customer service, therapeutic excellence, legal protection, financial growth, and operational excellence at all times.
• Maintain consistent awareness of all measurements of health and success of the clinic included but not limited to the following:
  • Total Visits
  • PT Scorecard
  • Free Screen Conversion
  • MD Referrals
• Participate in various Marketing Activities each month in order to ensure clinic success.
• Keep a pulse on the clinic & processes, what could be better? What's not working etc.?
• Keep a pulse on conversations of PTs/Aides with patients
• Assure that patient flow through the office is a smooth and efficient process.
• Work with biller to ensure intelligent PT billing.
• Work ethic- getting stuff done regardless of time. Directors work more than 40 hours usually.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a PT in CA.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a PT (preferably more).
• Clinical Management experience is strongly recommended but not mandatory.
