Description

Key Responsibilities

• Pre start inspections of the static and mobile plant.
• Loading of our aggregate bins.
• Unloading of sand from our ship on the wharf.
• Loading of sand onto tippers for distribution to other sites.
• Loading of site production waste for disposal.
• Raw material stock and quality control.
• Basic plant maintenance.
• Ownership of the site yard and traffic control.
• General housekeeping duties. 
• Enforcing site rules and procedures ensuring compliance.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• A full UK Driving Licence – owing to the location of the site you will need to be able to drive your own vehicle or otherwise be able to reliably get yourself to work on time.
• A genuine interest in the construction materials industry, specifically an interest in driving heavy mobile plant machinery.
• It would be great if you've already got experience operating a Loading Shovel and please let us know if you do! However for the right candidate we’ll also support your development with in-role training; whereby you will achieve a Level 2 Plant Operations NVQ diploma qualification.
