About the opportunity
This Senior Social Work role is to provide clinical leadership, case consultation and staff supervision in our community palliative care service. You will demonstrate an advanced level of clinical skills and act as a role model to other Allied Health team members.
Be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team that uses a holistic approach to provide best care and support to patients, families and carers. Support is provided in people's homes, office locations and by telehealth.
Key requirements:
- Grade 3 Social Work Senior Clinician
- Provide clinical leadership to enable a best practice approach
- Provide advanced social work practice skills for a complex caseload
- Support with allocation of AH referrals, clinical consultation and supervision
What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Degree in Social Work, eligibility for membership of AASW
- Advanced clinical skills and extensive experience relevant to community palliative care context
- Sound knowledge of current evidence-based practices and commitment to continuing professional development
- Enthusiastic with excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and team building skills
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- Current unrestricted drivers license
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
