Job Description: Hospital Pharmacist
Contract Duration: Monday, 20th July 2026 to Friday, 14th August 2026 (with potential extension until Friday, 4th September 2026)
Working Hours: 08:00 to 16:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Hospital Pharmacist to join a dynamic pharmacy team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering clinical pharmacy services within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Services: Provide clinical pharmacy services to surgical wards, day wards, and theatres.
- Clinical Audits: Conduct and complete clinical audits to ensure adherence to healthcare standards.
- Dispensary Support: Assist with medication management and distribution in the dispensary.
- System Utilisation: Work with the Prescript system (prior experience not required).
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience is essential.
- Prescribing: Prescribing qualifications are not essential for this role.
- Flexibility: The candidate must be able to commit to the full working hours with minimal flexibility.
