Job Description

This role involves leading and executing strategic corporate solutions within Group Investment Banking, focusing on ideating, origination, structuring, and delivery of complex financial transactions for strategic clients in ASEAN-4 countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand)

Job Responsibilities:**

* Lead conversations and ideas origination with shareholder and senior level management of family owned clients

* Structure, and lead structuring of strategic corporate solutions, including M&A advisory, divestitures, capital raising (equity and debt), and other bespoke banking transactions for shareholder-owned client base.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior management of existing and prospective clients, identifying their strategic needs and proposing tailored solutions.
* Prepare and present compelling pitches, proposals, and marketing materials to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Manage transaction processes end-to-end, including negotiating terms, coordinating with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
* Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and advise clients effectively.
* Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with other departments within the bank, including corporate banking, product teams, and risk management.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
* Relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully executing strategic corporate solutions.
* Strong understanding of M&A processes, valuation methodologies, capital markets, and corporate finance products.
* Excellent analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior clients.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex transactions from origination to close.
* Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
