People are working out on exercise equipment, using free weights, taking group classes… there’s a lot going on, and it’s all designed to help people stay in shape and improve their health. With an individual fulfilling the responsibilities of the Fitness Specialist, positive outcomes in one’s can be achieved.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Schedule and promote fitness programs to increase member participation.
- Support members in achieving their fitness goals through instruction, training, assessment, developing training plans, and motivation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred Associate's Degree Exercise/Health related field
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Exercise/Health Related Field Required
- National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) – Incident Command System (ICS) 300, 400 - Emergency Management Institute (FEMA)
- First Aid (AID) - American Heart Association
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association
