Job Summary

This position involves operating a Class A commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver loads within a set route. The driver will be home daily and must maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service. 

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer) to complete local deliveries and pick-ups. 
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies. 
• Load, unload, and secure freight using proper equipment and safety practices (as applicable). 
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues. 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers. 
• Follow assigned route schedules and adjust to traffic or weather-related delays as needed. 
• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service. 
• Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicle. 
• Report incidents, accidents, or delivery issues promptly and accurately. 
• Follow all SOPs for loading, unloading, and signing BOLs. 

Schedule and Hours: 

2nd Shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am

$2.00 Shift differential

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. 
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience. 
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules. 
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
