Field Service Engineer- Power Quality

## What you’ll do:

To act as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) within local CSU. Provide a first class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for installation, commissioning, fault finding/repairs & Preventative Maintenance. Offer support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field.

• Responsible for overseeing commissioning in local CSU & EMEA on behalf of Eaton Field Service
• Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities
• Support and train Local FSE's in such activities
• Onboard, coach and mentor new FSE's that join Eaton
• Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary
• Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required.
• Assist SIS with support of high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
• Maintain direct links with business units (HPO) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing
• Manage sub contractor teams were required
• Perform Health & Safety audits of FSE and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained

## Qualifications:

• Installer electrical background, suitable education/qualifications
• 5 years of UPS experience

## Skills:

• Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential.Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP an advantage. Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage
• Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution
• Communication skills / Customer Focus / Flexibility / Be able to work together with different cultures / Able to follow instructions
