What would you do? • We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Indirect Tax professional responsible for managing all aspects of Indirect Tax compliance, accounting, and reporting. The role involves collaborating with various departments and clients to ensure tax compliance while staying up to date with tax regulations • prepares monthly quarterly calculation recording and reporting of tax transactions and effective tax rate reconciliation preparation of financial statements for Statutory Regulatory and Compliance requirement and for preparation of reconciliation and consolidation of accounts • The management of an enterprise s holdings, with the ultimate goal of managing the firm s liquidity and mitigating its operational, financial and reputational risk.
What are we looking for? • Primary skill - Front Middle and Back Office Treasury Management - P1 • What are we looking for? • • In-depth knowledge of Indirect Tax (US Global as applicable) • • Hands-on experience in handling Sales & Use tax, tax workings, returns preparation, customs & excise, and managing audit tax authority queries • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) • • Strong analytical skills for tax issues, documentation, and tax calculation • • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements according to GAAP IFRS standards • • Proficiency in tax related accounting reconciliation • • Experience with Workday ERP • • Advanced MS Excel skills • • Willingness to work night shifts • 2. General Responsibilities• Prepare and review Indirect Tax returns, accounting, and reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness • • Manage tax calendar, workings, filings, and payments (including estimated payments) • • Guide the team on complex tax processes to ensure compliance and accuracy • • Oversee tax provision calculations and supporting documentation • • Coordinate and manage tax audits and queries • • Understand and manage multiple complex activities and end-to-end processes
Roles and Responsibilities: • External Tax Reporting and Compliance (Indirect) • • Confirm Export out of Tax Jurisdiction • o Validate export shipment list and verify export status • o Collate export evidence and investigate outstanding confirmations • o Log confirmed exports and prepare export evidence • o Calculate and review potential Indirect Tax liability on unconfirmed shipments • o Request clarifications corrections as needed • o Inform tax authority and request tax assessment; validate and accept or object to assessments • • Submit Return Report to Tax Authority • o Collate, validate, and amend data supporting documents • o Prepare, verify, and submit reports, returns, or refund claims • o Retain relevant tax documents and submit returns on tax portals • • Settle Tax Liability to Tax Authority • o Establish financial impact and apply for refunds credits • o Inform about expected refunds credits and record accordingly • o Prepare, review, and process payment requests; retain documentation • • Manage Tax Liability Prepayments • o Validate and calculate prepayment amounts • o Produce, review, and process prepayment requests • o Monitor prepayment status, inform requestors, and handle delays interest calculations • • Manage Indirect Tax Guarantees • o Oversee Indirect Tax guarantees as required • • Manage External Tax Audit • o Review tax deadlines and communicate audit requests • o Collate and validate audit evidence, respond to authority queries • o Review and validate audit findings, determine further actions, and communicate non-acceptance if needed • • Object to Tax Authority Decision • o Formally object to tax authority decisions as appropriate • • Provide Reports to Internal and External Stakeholders • o Manage information requests, assess data availability, prepare and validate reports • o Incorporate feedback and distribute reports per local policies • • Manage Tax Risks • o Identify and manage tax risks proactivelyAny Graduation
