About the role

We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer who will support the Structural Engineer (International) across the design and implementation stages, assisting with the structural design of all functional and residential buildings, platforms, platform sheds, foot over bridges, and related structures for the proposed project components. Assist in preparing detailed drawings, specifications, BOQs, and rate analyses in close coordination with the Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader, and other technical experts, while helping coordinate building-related works across components and consulting the Employer on design matters, to ensure safe, durable, and standards-compliant structures that reflect national codes and local conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structural analysis and design of buildings, platforms, platform sheds, foot over bridges, and related structures
• Collect and review local data, including soil conditions, material availability, and construction practices. Apply national structural codes and standards in the design 
• Assist in preparing detailed structural drawings and technical specifications
• Prepare BOQ items and quantities for all buildings and structures. Carry out rate analyses using current local market rates and national schedules
• Assist the Structural Engineer (International) in organizing the daily work of experts and staff on building-related works
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, electrical, and other staff across components

About You:

• Graduation in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent relevant Subject
• 15 years total professional experience, preferably 8 years’ experience in railway field
• 5 years' experience in similar type feasibility study and design consultancy, including preferably 5 years’ experience in similar position for similar type consultancy
