Registered Nurse (RN), Campus Care, Part-time, 8:00AM - 4:30PM or 9am-5pm

Victorian Village, a Skilled Nursing Community, located in Homer Glen, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN), Campus Care, Part-time. Victorian Village is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Clinical nurse for residents who have questions about their healthcare and minor medical needs.
• Assists physicians with visits to Independent Living Residents.
• Supervises Campus Care Aides.
• Teaches, supports and supervises caregivers.
• Observes potential dangers if disabling conditions and indicates preventative and corrective measures.
• Develops a plan of care which prioritizes and considers all aspects and needs of the client.
• Communicates goals of care to the client and caregiver.
• Facilitates coordination of follow up care.
• On-Call Responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be a compassionate, empathetic and nurturing personality.
• Must have a Registered Nurse Certification for the State of Illinois.
• Previous experience in Campus Care or Assisted Living is preferred.
• Must be up to date with CPR
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
