We are seeking a seasoned Finance & Accounting professional to join our team. This role is integral to enhancing our firm's financial operations by providing precise accounting, insightful financial reporting, and strategic financial analysis. Supporting the firm’s mission, the successful candidate will drive improvements in financial visibility, contributing to informed business decisions and fostering a closer integration of financial data across departments.

 

What you’ll do:

• Daily Accounting: Manage daily transactional accounting duties such as accounts receivable, bank deposits, and reconciliation of financial data within QuickBooks.
• Financial Reporting: Develop recurring and ad hoc financial reports that accurately reflect business operations, facilitating cross-departmental visibility and understanding.
• Financial Analysis: Perform deep dives into financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and strategic insights, supporting decision-making processes.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Bridge gaps between financial data and operational information, enhancing the firm’s overall analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• System Integration: Support initiatives to integrate financial data with case management systems, aiming to streamline processes and reduce manual data entry.

• Accounting Experience: Strong foundational skills in accounting with several years of professional experience.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
