We are recruiting a Credit Control Supervisor for an established manufacturing business in the Harrogate area. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key finance function, drive effective debt collection and play an important role in supporting the wider finance team.

The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day credit control function and support the wider team.

• Monitor aged debt and ensure outstanding payments are collected within agreed timescales.

• Manage escalated customer queries and resolve payment disputes.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor credit limits and identify potential risks.

• Produce aged debt reports and monitor collection performance.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and cash flow.

 

About You

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.

• Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting a team.

• Strong knowledge of credit management and debt collection.

• Confident handling customer queries and negotiating payment arrangements

• Commercially aware, proactive and able to work to deadlines.

• Confident using finance systems and Excel.
