About the Role

•To support with Product Marketing & Customer Propositions’ product strategy planning for Partnership Distribution.
•To be responsible in end-to-end product development, plan and launch campaigns for Partnership Distribution.
•To support end-to-end regulatory and compliance-related initiatives as well as governance of the product development process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

To be responsible in end-to-end product development, plan and launch campaigns for Partnership Distribution.

• To lead the preparation of Product Development Committee (PDC) with all relevant stakeholders within the set timeline.
• Conduct market research, data analysis, product competitiveness study and collect customer & distributor feedback to identify trends, needs & gaps.
• Lead the product ideation process and share the product idea and buy in from Partnership Distribution.
• Lead the sharing and present the product ideas with PBB, to get buy in and approval from Public Bank on product to be developed.  This includes working on indicative premium with Actuarial, competitor’s analysis, and product position and strategy and others.
• Responsible of reviewing product documents which includes product specs, contract, PDS, marketing material and etc.  To provide support to staff in obtaining internal approval before sharing with PBB.
• Responsible of coordinating with system users on the product requirement, to prepare contract template and perform UAT.
• Provide support to Partnership Distribution for integrated marketing campaign and promotion activities.
• Conduct Train-the-trainer session.
• Providing guidance to staff on various area

To work in special projects, for example, online channel and others

To initiate and coordinate changes impacting products by implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance to internal and regulatory guidelines. This may include new or revisions of guidelines issued by local regulators (e.g. Bank Negara Malaysia, LIAM/PIAM) or Group which may require process improvements and/or documents revision..

To perform other responsibilities and duties periodically or involve in ad hoc initiatives/special project as assigned by supervisor to meet business needs and/or other regulatory/compliance requirements or implementation and follow through actions.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Actuarial or Marketing

• Minimum 3 years for Specialist / 5 years for Consultant or more years of relevant working experience in marketing, ideally in a high growth business environment

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and oral)

• Good presentation and interpersonal skills

• Possess good problem-solving and analytical skills
