Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reporting in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic data center location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, and cameras as assigned; document observations and report incidents or maintenance concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
