Description
AvaMed Workforce is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract assignment at a correctional facility in Solano County, CA.
Rate: $85/hr
Position details
- Full-time contract assignment: 5x8s or 4x10s
- Location: Solano County, CA (Vacaville)
- Start: ASAP
What you'll do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, mobility and functional rehabilitation
- Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge plans accurately and on time
- Work with physicians, nursing and the interdisciplinary care team in a secure setting
- Follow all safety, security and custody protocols
Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Current BLS certification
- Correctional or CDCR experience strongly preferred
- Must pass a background clearance
- Reliable, professional and comfortable in a correctional environment
