EH239 - Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeper - Greenwich, CT

Overview

A warm and nurturing family seeks an engaging, proactive full-time, live-out nanny/housekeeper to help care for their three children, ages 5, 7, and 9 and to support the daily running of their household. The schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 9am-7pm. 

 

Whilst the children are at school the candidate will focus on household responsibilities and will work with the mother to manage after-school routines, activities, and evening prep. 

 

The ideal candidate works well with autonomy, is passionate about child development, and reinforces manners and basic life skills through age-appropriate tasks.

 

The position is looking to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Nanny Responsibilities

• Support the children's daily routine
• Collect the children from school alongside the mother
• Drive one or two of the children to after school activities
• Prepare simple but nutritious meals for the children
• Assist with the transition into the evening routine (homework help, packing up, winding down)

Housekeeper Responsibilities

• General cleaning and tidying of the household 
• Assist with laundry, beds and general household upkeep as needed
• Handle the family calendar
• Be available to organize vendors for any maintenance issues
• Receive packages and deliveries
• Run any errands

Qualifications

• Excellent communication 
• Self-starter who can read the room and maintain routines independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Reliable and seeking a long-term role

Requirements

• Driver with a clean licence - (the family will provide a car during working hours)
• Legally allowed to work in the US
• Fluent English speaking

Salary and Benefits

• $40+ per hour 
• 10 days PTO
• 5 sick days
