Description
Overview
Put your clinical skills to work where every patient interaction makes a difference!
If you enjoy phlebotomy, working with patients, and being part of a fast-paced clinical team, this opportunity offers the best of both worlds. As a Clinical Diagnostics Specialist, you'll play an important role in patient care through laboratory specimen collection while supporting multiple specialty clinics, including Pediatrics, Urology, OB/GYN, and General Surgery.
What makes this opportunity unique?
Phlebotomy is your primary focus, but no two days have to look exactly alike. You'll perform laboratory specimen collections, help ensure samples are accurately processed and delivered, and provide patients with a safe, comfortable, and positive experience. When things slow down in the lab, you'll have the opportunity to expand your role by assisting providers and clinical staff with traditional Clinic Technician responsibilities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys using their technical skills, interacting with patients of all ages, and working alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.
What we're looking for:
Confidence and proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection.
A patient-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented clinical environment.
Current national certification as either a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
