About the role
The Account Manager is responsible for the overall commercial and contractual management of the Al Shindagha Museum District (ASMD) account, acting as the primary point of contact between BLR WORLD and the client. The role is accountable for ensuring that all contractual obligations, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), reporting requirements, recruitment milestones, onboarding activities, financial deliverables, and governance commitments are successfully delivered.
While the District Manager leads the day-to-day operational delivery across Commercial, Operations, Programming, and Training, the Account Manager maintains strategic oversight of the contract, ensuring alignment between operational performance and contractual expectations.
The Account Manager will work closely with internal departments including Recruitment, HR, Finance, Payroll, Operations, Commercial, and Learning & Development to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the contract lifecycle.
Arabic fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory due to the requirement for regular communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement with Arabic-speaking client representatives.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary commercial and contractual contact between BLR WORLD and ASMD.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Lead regular governance meetings, performance reviews, and contract discussions.
- Ensure timely communication of operational updates, risks, achievements, and contractual matters.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Contract & Performance Management
Ensure full compliance with all contractual obligations.
Monitor and report on all agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Identify performance trends and implement improvement plans where necessary.
Track contractual deliverables and ensure all milestones are achieved.
Manage contractual risks and escalate issues appropriately.
Recruitment & Mobilisation
Oversee the recruitment strategy for all project positions.
Coordinate with the Recruitment team to ensure vacancies are filled within agreed timelines.
Monitor recruitment pipelines, interview progress, and onboarding schedules.
Ensure successful mobilisation of new employees in accordance with project requirements.
Support workforce planning alongside the District Manager.
Onboarding & HR Coordination
Coordinate onboarding activities with HR.
- Ensure employees complete all required documentation, inductions, and mandatory training before deployment.
Monitor probation periods and staffing movements.
Support employee retention initiatives and workforce planning.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Coordinate monthly invoicing in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure invoices are accurate and submitted on time.
- Monitor purchase orders, variations, contract amendments, and commercial approvals.
Support revenue tracking and financial reporting.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting where required.
Reporting & Governance
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Produce executive dashboards highlighting project performance.
- Analyse operational and commercial data to provide meaningful insights.
Present reports during governance meetings with senior stakeholders.
Ensure all client reporting deadlines are achieved.

Ensure documentation is maintained accurately and securely.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Support innovation and best practice implementation across the project.
Mentor and support project management staff where appropriate

Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in account management, contract management, operations management, or project management.
Experience managing large outsourced service contracts.
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) — mandatory.
Strong commercial and financial understanding.
Preferred
PMP or Prince2 certification.
- Experience within government, cultural, hospitality, tourism, or visitor attraction sectors.
Experience managing contracts exceeding 100 employees.
