AI Specialist - Group Internal Audit (OVA5719)

This is a 3 - month contract with our client in the banking sector.

Accelerate Group Internal Audit's strategic transformation into an AI-powered function. This hands-on specialist role designs, builds, and scales GenAI, agentic workflows, and predictive analytics on Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Fabric to automate and elevate risk assessment, audit planning, testing, and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• AI Solution & Workflow Design: Build and deploy GenAI solutions, agentic workflows, prompt templates, and predictive risk-scoring models across core audit phases.
• Platform & Stack Execution: Develop secure tools leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Python, SQL, and APIs.
• Governance & Responsible AI: Implement strict model risk management, data privacy, and security guardrails to ensure AI outputs are accurate and audit-ready.
• Data Engineering & Dashboards: Conduct data engineering and quality assessments; design Power BI dashboards to present risk insights.
• Delivery & Enablement: Lead business requirements gathering, UAT coordination, design/handover documentation, and team upskilling to drive business adoption.

Requirements include

Experience required

• 5+ years in analytics/AI solution delivery.
• 2+ years hands-on experience delivering GenAI, LLM, or agentic AI solutions.
• Financial Services: Demonstrated experience delivering AI solutions in a regulated banking or financial services environment.
• Audit/Risk (Preferred): Prior experience in internal audit, risk management, assurance automation, or control testing.

Technical & core skills

• Tech Stack: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot / Copilot Studio / GitHub Copilot, Python, SQL, and API integration.
• AI Expertise: GenAI solution architecture, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, MLOps, and Responsible AI principles.
• Delivery & Stakeholder Skills: Experience producing RFQ, technical design, and UAT documentation; strong facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
