Main Responsibilities:
- Monitoring projects under direct supervision.
- Record incoming customer communications supporting and working on them.
- Inform and train users in the operation of equipment and/or software; Analyze and make recommendations on time.
- Keep clients informed in a professional manner ensuring accuracy of details.
- Accurately record all customer communications using the appropriate service desk software.
- Installation support and routine maintenance for hardware and software.
- Analyze and resolve failures ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password.
- Ensure documentation and job notes are kept up to date and accurate.
- Support to other duties when required by management.
- Comply with and ensure that the personnel under their charge comply with each of the points considered within the code of conduct (ethics) of Spellman de México, S.A. of C.V
- Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.
Competences / abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
· +3 years of experience in related field and technical support.
· Advanced knowledge of Windows at an advanced level
· Advanced Microsoft Office.
· Basic knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, VPN devices, wireless and other networking technologies.
· Printer installation and other computer equipment accessories.
· Manejo y instalación de cableado estructurado Cat6.
· Hardware computer repair and software installation.
· Ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation and work notes.
· Basic English.
· Strong understanding and working knowledge of active directory exchange email administration.
· Strong understanding of computer backup and restore methods.
· Ability to articulate at a technical level appropriate to the circumstances, for example, for clients with different levels of knowledge and IT competence.
