Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM | $20-$23/hour | Full-Time

As a Medical Receptionist, you'll provide essential administrative support, from patient check-in through scheduling and records management, helping ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient.
- Check patients in and out, and register new patients, collecting co-pays and deposits
- Prepare new patient paperwork, insurance forms, and privacy notices
- Create new patient charts, pull existing charts, and file documentation
- Work within EMR systems daily to support clinical and administrative workflows
- Answer and direct phone calls in a friendly, professional manner
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; proactively offer earlier openings from cancellations
- Schedule follow-up appointments at check-out, documenting any exceptions
- Obtain and record patient histories, vitals, and test results while maintaining confidentiality
- Prepare examination rooms and deliver compassionate support to patients and families
- Maintain confidentiality, security, and organization of patient medical records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility clinical guidelines
- Complete annual mandatory training by assigned due dates
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of administrative experience required
- 1+ year of hands-on EMR experience required
- Previous healthcare facility experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently
- Solid grasp of clerical procedures such as recordkeeping and filing
- Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office ethics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
