QA Engineer

Job Description 

• Analyze user, product, and software requirements to prepare comprehensive test cases and support effective test coverage
• Leverage AI-assisted tools and technologies to improve test design, test automation, defect analysis, documentation, and overall QA productivity while ensuring quality and accuracy
• Execute manual and automated testing activities, analyze test results, identify and report defects, and support defect management through to resolution while ensuring compliance with project requirements, test plans, and quality standards.
• Create, execute, monitor test activities and contribute to QA effort estimates for project planning and delivery
• Prepare and maintain QA artefacts including test cases, test scripts, defect reports, test results, and supporting documentation
• Support the development, execution, and maintenance of automation scripts using relevant automation tools and frameworks
• Participate in the review of test artefacts such as test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports to support quality and completeness
• Follow established QA best practices, testing standards, and project quality processes during test planning and execution
• Collaborate with development, product, project, and QA team members to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support timely defect resolution
• Continuously learn and apply new QA practices, tools, technologies, and testing techniques to support process improvement
• Deliver assigned QA activities independently and collaboratively, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery

Person Specification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or related technology environments
• Hands-on experience in manual software testing across web, mobile, or enterprise application environments
• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, or similar tools
• Experience or exposure to test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Good understanding of software testing concepts, test case design, test execution, defect management, and QA documentation
• Familiarity with automation testing, performance testing, API testing, or regression testing will be considered an advantage
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle practices
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple testing activities and priorities effectively while maintaining quality standards
