Job Summary
We are seeking a Sheet Metal BIM Coordinator to support the design, drafting, and coordination of mechanical construction projects. This role focuses on developing and maintaining accurate BIM models and shop drawings while collaborating with project teams to ensure quality, constructability, and coordination across multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities

Create and update 2D and 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.

Prepare construction layouts, shop drawings, and fabrication details.

Revise drawings based on feedback from BIM Trade Leads, Project Coordinators, and BIM Coordinators.

Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and structural models to identify and resolve clashes.

Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and company drafting standards.

Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and ongoing technical training.

Develop an understanding of mechanical construction processes, prefabrication, and field installation practices.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks preferred.

Strong attention to detail with excellent drafting accuracy.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
