Job Description

In Bogotá - Colombia we are looking for a Senior Retoucher who is responsible for delivering high-quality, production-ready imagery across multiple categories, including automotive, lifestyle, product, beauty, and other visual content as required. This role supports US-based clients and internal teams by providing expert retouching, strong visual judgment, and consistent quality across print and digital deliverables.The Senior Retoucher plays a critical role in upholding creative standards, supporting quality control, mentoring mid-level artists, and contributing to efficient, scalable production workflows. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working across diverse visual styles and categories.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-end retouching across multiple categories, including automotive, lifestyle, product, beauty, and environmental imagery, performing advanced compositing, cleanup, enhancement, and image manipulation while maintaining realism, brand integrity, and category-specific visual standards.

  • Prepare and deliver production-ready assets for print, OOH, digital, web, social, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring consistent quality, accuracy, and attention to detail across all assignments.

  • Conduct detailed quality control reviews to ensure assets meet client expectations and brand guidelines, with strong expertise in color correction, color matching, contrast management, and both RGB and CMYK workflows. Maintain clean, organized Photoshop files following production best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with CGI artists, designers, producers, creative leads, and cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback efficiently while maintaining high craft standards and communicating effectively with US-based stakeholders regarding timelines, revisions, and project expectations.

  • Mentor and support mid-level retouchers through coaching, constructive feedback, and technical guidance, while assisting lead retouchers in workflow optimization, quality consistency, documentation, and the continuous improvement of team standards and best practices.

  • Stay current with retouching trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, evaluating and leveraging AI-assisted tools and automation opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of professional retouching experience in an agency, studio, or production environment, with proven expertise across multiple visual categories, including lifestyle and product imagery. Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility, technical excellence, and high-quality execution. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Communication, or equivalent professional experience. English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including non-destructive workflows, advanced masking, compositing, color correction, retouching, and file preparation techniques. Experience using Adobe Bridge or similar asset management tools, with a strong understanding of RGB and CMYK workflows, color profiles, and pre-press standards.

  • Experience working with CGI or 3D-generated imagery is highly valued, along with basic knowledge of 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar tools. Familiarity with AI-assisted retouching and production technologies is considered a plus.

  • Ability to work within US business hours or agreed overlapping schedules as required, while thriving in fast-paced, deadline-driven production environments. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established workflows, brand guidelines, technical specifications, and production standards.
