Overview
The Specialist, De Novo assists in supporting the field with successful launching of all new, office openings and providing operational advisement during the first 24 months. The primary function of the Specialist, De Novo is to oversee, administer and support the naming process for all offices (including relocated offices) and to administer tenant improvement allowances for all locations. The incumbent is also responsible for overseeing IT circuit setup processes and providing implementation cycle support. This role is responsible for ensuring that assigned pre-open De Novo responsibilities such as sign creation and name registration are completed in a timely and effective manner which contributes towards the goal of opening turn-key, patient ready offices.
Responsibilities
Compiles market research and real estate information on markets and submarkets throughout the United States to facilitate the naming process for all offices. Provides recommendations based on findings for names that are market appropriate that meet all local and state regulations
Interprets lease requirements for tenant improvement allowance reimbursements and prepares packages
Support circuit installation through implementation, conduct post-implementation evaluations to measure effectiveness and performance. Includes assessing reoccurring issues and resolving incidents
Direct vendors and oversee IT circuit installations including setup for new dental offices
Ensures strict adherence to both landlord and tenant deliverable requirements, with appropriate notifications as required by the lease
Manages the collections process for tenant improvement allowances for all offices which results in annual remittances of over $4 million per year
Prepares sign packages in conjunction with Real Estate validating that the company is not committing trade mark infringements which can result in legal fines to the company
Collaborates with various internal departments and regional support team members to ensure the completion of office naming processes are completed within required timeline
Define attainment goals, lead implementation and conduct post-evaluation
Identifies and creates processes and efficiencies in the department including but not limited to key reports, guidance documents, and flow-charts relevant to key pre-open responsibilities. Designs new processes as needed
Communicates with landlords, contractors, state and county officials to ensure process are completed
Manages various tasks and deadlines as well as prioritizes and plan work activities
Leads/co-leads cross-functional team projects from inception to completion
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited college and 2 years of experience. In lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio
Preferred
Experience with Process and/or Project Management
Experience in a multi-location organization
