  • Support financial reporting submissions and related activities, including data validation, issue resolution, report preparation, and coordination with responsible teams before close deadlines.
  • Accountable for the completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals reported within assigned process, platform, and entity scope.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting, reporting, or data quality issues where procedures may not be fully defined, escalating risks and dependencies as needed.
  • Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and evidence to support financial reporting, reconciliation, journal entry, and control requirements.
  • Handle confidential financial information with appropriate care and in line with company policies.

Ensure Compliance and Control Effectiveness

  • Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo.
  • Execute assigned activities in accordance with global policies, worldwide procedures, internal controls, audit requirements, SOX controls, and service level commitments.
  • Support review, approval, and evidence preparation for financial reporting controls, including reconciliation controls, journal entry controls, access or system-related controls, and close sign-offs where applicable.
  • Identify control gaps, data quality risks, process issues, or reporting defects and recommend practical actions to remediate or prevent recurrence.

Be a Trusted Business Partner

  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to coordinate issue resolution, align close status, clarify reporting requirements, and support timely decision-making.
  • Work with SMEs, analysts, operational teams, LTM/technology partners, Data Quality, Finance Data Management, Compliance, and GPO teams on process and operational matters.
  • Support cross-sector, cross-region, and cross-process alignment by maintaining consistent documentation, standard practices, and a global approach to reporting and reconciliation activities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders, including providing timely updates, explaining variances or defects, and escalating issues with clear facts and proposed next steps.

Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, automation, data quality, and reporting reliability.
  • Support process improvements, transformation initiatives, system enhancements, testing, and stabilization activities related to CFIN, financial reporting, and close processes.
  • Contribute ideas and practical solutions that reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, improve auditability, and support global process standardization.
