Responsibilities
Summary
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and
company assets, the building, and grounds while maintaining a safe work environment and
adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

1 Year Mechanical Maintenance Experience Listed on application or resume
MVR Requirements: Must have a valid State driver’s license.
No DWI/DUI conviction within the previous 12 months
Duties
Changing batteries using the battery changing machine
Maintaining and servicing Crown Forklifts
Cleaning and painting the building as part of general building maintenance
Preventative maintenance on all equipment using required PPE
Logging Preventative Maintenance (PMs) in SAP
Completing monthly trainings – This position requires reaching level 4 of training within the first 14 months.
Management and clean up with chemical and hazmat spills
Maintaining and servicing shag trucks
Answering service calls
Ordering parts as needed
Troubleshooting issues
Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
Keep up with communication via Radio, Teams, and Email
Other duties as assigned
Maintain and service forklift and power industrial trucks including battery changes using all required PPE.
Maintain and service shag trucks.
Maintain and service ammonia refrigeration systems using all required PPE.
Answer service calls from the operations team in a timely manner.
Management and clean-up of hazmat spills.
Communicate effectively and timely to leadership as you encounter difficulties or discrepancies.
Other duties include ensuring that all product quality, authenticity and legality procedures are followed and completing Annual Food Defense Training.
Ensure safety processes are being followed consistently promoting a safe work environment and performing other responsibilities as needed.
Clean as you go throughout your work shift.
Must be able to operate PIT including forklifts and shag trucks.
Other duties as assigned.
