Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Support Manager to lead the sales support function and optimize day-to-day sales operations. This role is responsible for managing a team, overseeing pricing administration, customer data management, reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure efficient sales processes and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Process Management
Manage pricing setup, maintenance, and contract administration processes.
Maintain customer pricing structures, classifications, and sales-related data within CRM and ERP systems.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.
Monitor market and competitor activity to support pricing and product positioning strategies.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
Analyze sales data and generate actionable insights to improve business performance.
Create ad hoc reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.
Consolidate data from multiple systems for reporting and analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Logistics, Planning, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, and Product Development teams.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Resolve operational issues impacting sales support activities.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a Sales Support team.
Manage workloads, schedules, and team priorities.
Establish performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Train employees on company policies, SOPs, and best practices.
Promote a collaborative, customer-focused work environment.
Communication
Support multiple sales teams by coordinating sales support activities.
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and customers.
Participate in sales meetings and provide operational updates to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Experience
3–5 years of experience in Sales Support, Sales Operations, or a related role.
1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing a sales support team.
Experience supporting multiple sales channels and customer-facing teams.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
Strong reporting, forecasting, and business analysis capabilities.
Core Competencies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
