Summary
Internship opportunity to join HMH’s Services Engineering team, supporting installation and commissioning activities, software deployment, technical documentation, field service operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in engineering support processes while contributing to innovative projects and digital transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Services Engineering team with installation, commissioning, software deployment, technical support, and field service activities
- Organize and maintain technical documentation and knowledge management systems to ensure efficient information retrieval
- Collect, review, and pre-assess documentation using established checklists and procedures
- Provide initial technical inputs and support to Services Engineers in daily activities
- Contribute to improvement projects utilizing digital technologies and AI-powered tools
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and service excellence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support engineering projects and customer requirements
- Develop technical knowledge of HMH products, systems, and service operations
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all assigned activities
- Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy
Required Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Automation & Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: No prior professional experience required. Previous academic, internship, or technical project experience is considered an advantage.
Skills and Abilities:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Copilot
- Interest in engineering services, field operations, and technical support activities
- Familiarity with AI tools and emerging digital technologies
- Basic knowledge of programming and development tools such as Visual Studio Code, HTML, VBA, and Excel macros is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
