Are you looking for an opportunity to use your German language skills in a customer-focused role where communication, problem-solving, and relationship management are key to success?
Avis Budget Group is looking for a motivated Specialist to join our Central Region Collection Team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of German customers, support debt recovery activities, maintain accurate account information, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure outstanding customer service.

What you'll do:
Manage a portfolio of German customer accounts and support the timely collection of outstanding receivables.
Proactively contact customers by phone and email regarding overdue payments and account balances.
Handle incoming customer inquiries and provide professional support in resolving account-related questions.
Negotiate payment arrangements and support customers in finding suitable solutions.
Send balance confirmations, account statements, and invoice copies upon request.
Maintain accurate customer records and update relevant account information in internal systems.
Investigate account discrepancies and support the resolution of payment-related issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and rental stations.
Collaborate closely with teams across the Business Support Center and local country organizations.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, policies, and service level agreements.
You should apply if you bring:
Minimum high school education (University or College degree is an advantage).
Advanced German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
Confidence communicating with customers via phone and email.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Ability to negotiate and handle challenging conversations professionally.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Adaptability and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Previous experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Finance Operations, or a similar administrative role is an advantage.
