WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Pediatrician at Garrett Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Oakland, Maryland.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of Pediatrics
Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license. Successful Candidate must have completed a Pediatric residency program. Successful Candidate must be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
Garrett Regional Medical Center is a 55-bed, acute care hospital that operates as a non-profit healthcare facility and is part of the WVU Medicine network. It is Joint Commission–accredited and Medicare-certified, indicating that it meets national standards for healthcare quality and patient safety. Because Garrett County is sparsely populated and mountainous, GRMC functions as a critical access point for emergency and routine care, often serving patients who would otherwise need to travel long distances for treatment.
