Automotive Service Technician

Go Langley Mitsubishi | Surrey/Langley, B.C.

 

Go Langley Mitsubishi is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to join our service team.

 

Located on the Langley Bypass in Surrey, our dealership offers a full-time Tuesday–Saturday schedule, Mitsubishi OEM training, comprehensive benefits, and long-term career opportunities across the Go Auto network.

Compensation and Schedule

• $41 per flat-rate hour
• Tuesday through Saturday
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Full-time, permanent position

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles
• Complete repairs involving brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, electrical, HVAC, and cooling systems
• Perform accurate vehicle inspections
• Road-test vehicles for diagnosis and quality control
• Document condition, cause, and correction clearly
• Create customer-facing inspection and repair videos
• Identify and communicate recommended repairs
• Complete warranty and recall work according to required procedures
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, safety, and quality standards
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

 

What You Bring

• Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician qualification
• Professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Your own tools
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong documentation and repair-story habits
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented approach
• Commitment to continued technical learning

 

Nice to Have

• Previous import-brand or dealership experience
• Mitsubishi experience or OEM training
• Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills
• CDK or similar dealership-management-system experience
• Experience with digital inspections and customer repair videos
