Description

About Us

Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls and the leading authority on their healthy development. Millions of Girl Scout alums across the country and the world have gone on to achieve incredible things and make a tremendous impact in fields ranging from public policy, medicine, journalism, and athletics to international relations, science, technology, art, and entertainment.

As a mission-driven organization, Girl Scouts of the USA champions girls as they explore their worlds, try new things, and develop courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. From stargazing during a first overnight camping trip to building robots, navigating a rocky hiking trail, working together on a community project, and learning about the importance of environmental stewardship, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can unapologetically be themselves. As they rise to meet new challenges, they also discover the issues that matter most to them. Along the way, they learn the power of friendship, connection, and teamwork.

Girl Scouts are doers, innovators, problem-solvers, creators, and dreamers, and the GSUSA team is here to center, support, and inspire them, working with 111 local councils across the country and USA Girl Scouts Overseas to deliver our life-changing Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

The Strategy & Planning Community encompasses Strategic Planning, Transformation Execution, Analytics & Insights, and Property Strategy. The Transformation Execution team is a new team that we are standing up to oversee execution of our multi-year strategic transformation.

The Transformation Execution Team will build out the program, project and change management methodology and tools, drive a robust and rigorous planning process, and coordinate activities with leaders and teams across the organization. The Transformation Execution team will provide oversight of the most critical initiatives to ensure a successfully executed transformation.

You Will

The Transformation Portfolio Analytics & Reporting Manager is responsible for delivering the analytical rigor, insight capabilities, and data interrogation that power GSUSA’s multi‑year transformation. This role ensures that initiative, workstream, and portfolio‑level information is accurate, timely, understood, and actionable.  The role will surface trends, risks, patterns, and capacity constraints that shape strategic decision-making.

This role is an analytics-driven position focused on interrogating, interpreting, and synthesizing portfolio data – not simply a technical report builder position.  Reporting tools support the work, but the core responsibility is generating insights and reporting that drive enterprise-level decisions. Working under the Sr. Director, Transformation Governance, this role leads the analysis of initiative and workstream data, challenges assumptions, identifies systemic issues, and translates complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.   This role also serves as the administrator for GSUSA’s PMO tool, ensuring data integrity, governance alignment, and consistent user adoption.  Experience transitioning or implementing an enterprise PMO tool is preferred.

Reporting and dashboards are built on top of this analytical foundation, enabling transparent, reliable visibility into transformation performance and strengthening governance across the organization.  The Transformation Portfolio Analytics & Reporting Manager partners closely with Initiative Owners, Program Delivery, Strategy, and Finance to ensure that transformation reporting is consistent and reliable.

Essential Responsibilities

Portfolio Reporting & Insights

  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date strategic dashboards in coordination with Strategy team.
  • Build and refine dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into initiative health, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
  • Consolidate initiative‑level data into workstream and transformation‑level reports, highlighting key issues, common risk themes, and mitigation strategies, in consultation with Program Delivery.
  • Develop exception‑based reporting that elevates issues requiring escalation or intervention.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for senior level leadership and board material.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive portfolio visualization of planned, in definition, and active projects, workstreams, and programs.

Analytics & Decision Support

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic portfolio health and capacity planning.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and systemic risks across projects and workstreams.
  • Build models or frameworks that help leaders understand tradeoffs, resource constraints, and value realization.
  • Provide data‑driven recommendations that support portfolio decision‑making.
  • Track, monitor and escalate off pace for transformation portfolio commitments (KPIs).

Capability Building & Stakeholder Support

  • Train Initiative Owners and Project Managers on reporting tools, dashboards, and data standards.
  • Provide coaching and support to help teams adopt governance and reporting practices effectively.
  • Create user‑friendly guides, templates, and resources to promote consistent reporting across the enterprise

Governance Operations & Standards

  • Support the Sr. Director, Transformation Governance in defining and enforcing reporting standards, templates, and data quality expectations across the transformation portfolio.
  • Partner with Program Delivery to align reporting with project execution realities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor adherence to governance processes and identify opportunities for simplification or improvement
  • Administrator enterprise PMO tool (i.e. Wrike), ensuring data integrity, governance alignment, and consistent user adoption.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
