We're hiring Housekeeping Managers at Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Mammoth Hot Springs. Experience the "secret season" of Yellowstone – an unforgettable winter adventure awaits!

 

Job Summary:

As a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Manager, you'll oversee the daily operation of the Housekeeping department and provide an attractive and clean facility for guest rooms and all public areas, ensuring they are maintained to the standard as trained.

 

The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: December 2026 to March 2027Pay: $1,848.00/bi-weekly to $2,088/bi-weeklySchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

  • To perform all duties towards the goal of maximizing guest service.
  • Assume the Housekeeping Manager daily duties in their absence if applicable.
  • Assists with opening and closing duties, ordering supplies and scheduling daily assignments.
  • Assist in training and evaluating the entire Housekeeping staff.
  • Communicates with manager in areas of room condition and employee productivity.    
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed.           
  • Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of all vacuums and floor machines.
  • Creates and sustains a positive work environment; promotes a sense of pride and teamwork with the staff.
  • Completes duties of a Rooms Inspector (or other positions as needed).
  • Follow all policy, procedures and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate well and offer effective mid-level supervision.
  • Ability to follow instructions and count accurately.

Preferred Qualfications: 

  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record. 
  • General office skills including phone etiquette, basic computer and accounting skills.
  • Knowledge of "Right To Know" laws pertaining to Housekeeping chemicals.

Physical Requirements include:

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day preferred.  
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies and linens sporadically throughout the day.
  • Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed.
  • Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas.
  • Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 50-75 pounds as needed.
