First Vice President / Senior Vice President, System and Infrastructure Support (Private Banking)
Private Banking Operations / COO Function
Job Purpose
The candidate is responsible for leading and modernising the Systems Support, Infrastructure, and Administrative functions, with accountability for ensuring resilient, efficient, and future‑ready support for Private Bank strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Private Banking stakeholders to ensure infrastructure and systems support capabilities remain aligned with business growth, digitalisation, and modernisation priorities.
- Define, formalize, and implement the end‑to‑end operating model for infrastructure and systems support, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, accountability, service standards, and escalation frameworks for Run‑the‑Bank activities.
- Drive modernisation initiatives to reduce operational complexity, manual dependencies, and legacy risks, strengthening scalability and resilience of support capabilities.
- Establish resourcing, capacity, and productivity measurement frameworks to assess workload distribution, service output, utilisation, and efficiency, and to support forward‑looking capacity planning. Build and sustain a capable support organisation by developing skills, strengthening technical and operational competencies, and ensuring appropriate succession and coverage.
- Establish effective engagement and operating models with Group Technology & Operations, PB functions, and service partners to ensure timely, coordinated, and accountable resolution of system and infrastructure issues, including clear communication of client and business impact, recovery timelines, and remediation actions.
- Actively manage and deliver production stability and resilience by leading incident response with timely stakeholder engagement and clear communication, ensuring prompt resolution, robust root cause analysis, preventive actions, and adherence to regulatory, risk management, and business continuity requirements.
