About the role

As a Programs Worker, this is your opportunity to coordinate and support the day-to-day delivery of programs and services at Manly Salvos, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively meet community needs.

Reporting to the Mission Leader, this is a permanent, part-time role offering 20 hours, 3 days per week, based in Manly, NSW.

How you will make an impact

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, volunteers and local partners.
• Coordinate and support community programs, activities and events that meet local needs.
• Manage the Community Centre pantry and help strengthen community support networks.
• Oversee Community Centre bookings, administration and invoice processing.
• Promote Manly Salvos programs and services through marketing and community engagement initiatives.
• Maintain and grow the organisation’s digital presence, including website and social media content.

What you will bring

• Experience in community engagement, program coordination and relationship building within a not-for-profit, faith-based or community services environment.
• Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders and manage competing priorities
• A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required
• Working with Children’s Check
