Overall Responsibilities
- Organize, pack, and load products for shipment in timely manner
- Accurately move and organize products back onto shelves or designated storage areas
- Review all orders to determine if they were picked and packed correctly
- Ensure that the warehouse and all work areas are maintained and cleaned on a regular basis
- Stack or move pallets to designated area
- Drive material handling equipment, such as a forklift and/or pallet jack, as necessary
- Follow all safety procedures given and established
- Effectively communicate and interact with fellow team membership in a professional and friendly manner
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Practices
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
