George and Gather Line Cook Needed

Welcome to George & Gather, a gourmet hangout in Chandler opening February 2025, serving up from-scratch fare made with clean, organic ingredients. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Line Cook to join our team and be part of a welcoming space that offers a nourishing dining experience.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations
• Prepare and cook menu items utilizing proper recipes and techniques
• Maintain a positive and professional approach to co-workers
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional meals
• Ensure that work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary
• Ensure kitchen operations and procedures meet food and safety standard and regulations
• Cover, date and store food using proper cooling and storage specifications

Qualifications:

• Proven cooking experience including prep cook and line cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional time management skills
• Accuracy and speed in execution of tasks
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
