The Role Must be available to work from the Purchase, NY office from May–August and at the National Tennis Center in Queens from August–September 14, 2026. Must be available on-site every day from August 23–September 14.
- Assist with the media application process for both traditional media and the US Open Content Creator Program
- Review applications and utilize USTA AI program to gather detailed information on applicants
- Assist with approving and processing applications
- Assist with writing and producing Media Operations Guides
- Assist with publishing content on the US Open Media Only Website
- Assist with pre-tournament press events & activations
- Assist with set-up of US Open Media Center
- USTA Communications Staff Office
- Manage the front desk during the US Open
- Provide general information to members of the media
- Manage press seat allocation
- Assist with daily clip process as needed
- Assist with in-tournament special events
Who You Are
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using basic office technology (e.g., spreadsheets, email, online systems) for tracking assignments.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and assist high-profile clients with professionalism.
- Availability to work the full duration of the tournament, including weekends, evenings, and extended hours.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $20.00.
Daily Meal Allowance: A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday during the US Open, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.
