Are you an experienced compliance professional looking to broaden your exposure across multiple jurisdictions within a professional services environment?

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Compliance Administrator to join our Risk and Compliance function, supporting regulatory adherence across fund services, trusts and legal practices. This role provides varied and meaningful exposure across the Cayman and BVI jurisdictions and plays an important role in maintaining effective AML/CFT controls, supporting client due diligence processes and promoting a strong culture of compliance.

You will work closely with colleagues across the business, providing practical and timely support on AML and compliance matters, while helping to ensure that regulatory obligations are met in line with CIMA requirements and applicable local laws.

About the role

In this role, you'll:

  • Provide client due diligence support to the BVI and Cayman offices, as required

  • Maintain and update task tracking documents accurately and in a timely manner

  • Undertake client risk assessments and respond to initial risk related queries

  • review requests for high risk approvals submitted to the MLRO, providing guidance where appropriate

  • Analyse and investigate screening alerts and escalate matters when required

  • Assist with regulatory filings and audit preparation

  • Support internal and external audit and inspection processes

  • Perform reviews in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan and prepare reports

  • Respond to ad hoc AML and compliance queries across both jurisdictions

  • Gather and compile data to support management reporting

About you – essential requirements

  • Relevant experience in a compliance, AML, risk or regulatory role within financial, fiduciary or legal services

  • Sound working knowledge of AML/CFT requirements and client due diligence processes

  • Familiarity with Cayman regulatory obligations and ideally BVI requirements

  • Experience in risk assessment, escalation handling and investigation of screening alerts

  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Excellent attention to detail, with a professional and solutions focused approach

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
